Job Description

This position is mainly an office position withsome field work required. Successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 yearsof progressive experience and be proficient in the following:

·       construction computations

·       preparation of cut sheets

·       deed research

·       preparing deed mosaics

·       processing field data

·       preparing location surveys

·       preparing topographic surveys

·       drafting boundary and ALTA surveys

·       drafting record plats and easement plats

·       Other survey duties as directed by the survey manager

·       Work as part of a survey crew when necessary

Job Duties

  •        Ability to perform in a fast—paced environment with quick turnaround times
  •        Excellent written, verbal communication and organizational skills
  •        Strong attention to details while maintaining consistent workflow
  •        Work both independently and in as a team member while being supervised
  •        Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D 2019 or higher, Microsoft Word and Excel
  •        Comply with established company drafting and CAD standards
  •        Ability to work overtime when required to meet deadlines
  •        Proficient in coordinate geometry and trigonometry
  •        Knowledge and experience with Modern data collectors, total stations, GPS/RTK
  •        Knowledge and experience with editing and processing electronic .raw, .rw5 and .csv files
  •        Knowledge and experience with CAD automation of field collected topographic data including, but not limited to line connectivity, symbology of points using feature codes, command codes, and surface networks
